Regarding the Lost Island

(1/2) > >>

Ekstasis:
When the Lost TV series did air on Television, I did dream away how wonderful it would had be to experience such journey and to live on the island.. I think the series has had a quite big impact on me...made me dream away..of a different life..far beyond this one.

I read they did shout the series on for different islands... I wish it all was on one island, so you could go and visit all the places where they did shot the series, the under ground tunnels, the water falls, the station bunker, if it all was there I could consider maybe 1 year or so of my life there.. to just reflect on existence and life in general and found "inner peace and new power" and dream away from this western world and system we are stuck in.

Most of the series was shot in Hawaii... and humorously close to public beaches. (well all beaches are public in Hawaii technically).  Literally tons of the show was shot there - except a few bits here and there.  It's been a long while since I was nuts for Lost - man I loved that show.

Well I guess as usual the less you know about it the better..anyway I wish the island did really exist as it did in the tv series..
where all these mystery is..

Yeah I love it too..it was christmas eve every time a new episode did air..was dying to know what would happen next..

At the height of LOST - especially that amazing first season - I was knee deep in the research and what is going on here? aspects of the show...  It was so brilliant.  And my wife and I stuck with it all the way through.  It stumbled now and then - (sometimes hideously bad) but as a work of art - wow they did good.

And yes - that island would be amazing to visit.

Although - it's kind of like reading a wonderful book that is so vivid in your mind - and then someone makes a movie and it doesn't live up to the visions you had... and then the movie's feel overtakes what you saw originally... it's happened to me a couple times... :-(

Ekstasis:
I re watchted the series last year... I will watch it again when it is released in 4K and when I got a 4K tv OLED tv :)

I wonder what the lost guys are working on now, after Lost they did fringe.. now I am not sure what they are up to..
but I know what ever they did do it seem good..
