Analoguekid playing live again
« on: June 08, 2014, 02:42:00 AM »
:) :) Very pleased to be given the opportunity to play live again, this time taking my frequency shifting ambient music to a Tea House in Nottingham UK. I will be playing for about 30 mins, using 3 small sound devices, these being my Korg Volca keys, a Nintendo DS lite with Korg DS10 synth, and my recent Yamaha CS01 synth, also a few FX pedals :-)

Have fun Martyn, let us know how it goes.

Will you record it?

Thanks Andy and yes I will let you know how it goes:-) I think Jez will record it using his zoom palm thingy so I may be able to get a copy of that, although it is only going to be a room recording but will give a general idea has to how it sounded :-)

My Church of Sound gig went really well, I enjoyed doing this a lot :-) Using just a small amount of gear it was a nice challenge and judging by the encouraging comments afterwards the audience seemed to like what I did. :-)

I will certainly do this kind of thing again and hopefully sooner rather than later but my next venture is an alfresco ambient jam using all by battery operated gear in some nice surroundings near where I live on Cannock Chase :-)

Glad it went well - the alfresco jam sounds fun.

Hello Andy, yes I like the idea of an alfresco jam and I think Jez is up for it too :-) I just need to get some quality battery speakers I am looking at the Cambridge audio Minx go as an option, do you know of this company's pedigree?
