Hi all,

So a guy in my country has this piece of gear for sale. It's a rare analog filter, 1000 units were made, but is this filter good for ambient?

Who cares about unit numbers??? All is good for Ambient and other styles if you know how to use it!

But, still searching for the "best gear" and configuring or making music already?

Well if for some reason I don't like it, rare gear it's easy to sell and profit?

Currently I'm finishing the last 5% of my setup I'm not rich so I have to buy things slowly while doing my daytime job, the good thing is my daytime job is creative. Thanks for your interest.

Frankly I'm eager to finish it, it's cumbersome to deal in the second hand market...

I had to be really creative with words... I could write a book by now about some weird deals and people.

I remember the Mutator....at the time I thought it was expensive but I never did hear it,  Im sure it was worth it.  Good for ambient, why not.  Its a big unit,  how much rack space do you have?

I used to have the waldorf D pole filter plugin that  worked well for me....waldorf have recently released the 2 pole, actually this maybe a re release, I think there was a hardware version sometime back, anyway its seems versatile and has a small footprint @ 200 euros.

I remember the Mutator got good reviews but it seemed pricy to me at the time. I use one of these right now:

I've ditched the deal with mutronics. I have more important things to purchase now, but I will keep an eye on the T-Resonator when it's time. Thanks for the tips.
