I remember back in the late 90s I brought my OBXa in for repair to a store called Musictek in the valley here in LA. The guy who was the analog synth guru for repairs had me bring my OBXa back to his office so he could start working on it right away. After putting it on his bench I turned around and there stacked in the corner were at least 10 Waldorf Waves, all waiting to be serviced. The tech told me they were the authorized repair shop for them on the West Coast and they would usually receive at least one a week in for repair. Most had been there for months waiting for parts from Waldorf. Great looking synth, one that I lusted after for a while, but after hearing him talk about the difficulties with them and the frequency that they broke down, my lust factor went down quite a bit.
Take care.

Hmmm...

A Waldorf Q + XT is a better investment than this giant synth.
When I listen to it on youtube it's hard to distinguish from my Q and the price...To close to a Yamaha CS80.
