Greetings members of Hypnos.

I am announcing the release of my second ambient album, The Sleeper's Night Journey, a concept album about the dream world. It can be purchased as a digital download only at the current time, but any purchases now will fund printing of the physical CD edition, which will be posted at no extra cost to buyers if they desire.

I really hope that all who buy this release will enjoy it and listen to it many times over. Many thanks, and feedback is always appreciated; feel free to post thoughts in this thread. Cheers.

I'm on the fifth track. At first, the album hints at a strictly traditional ambient sound but after the first track, there are some interesting samples and sounds popping up that I really wasn't expecting, especially in Perception Shift. Really good stuff so far.

Interesting album. I did really enjoy it. My favorite track is Perception Shift. I also enjoyed World Without Sky. Actually there weren't any bad tracks. I did catch myself starting to drift off while listening to this album. I was thinking that ambient music is one of the few forms of music where falling asleep while listening can be considered a compliment.  ;) Look forward to hearing more from you.

And thanks to you too hdibrell, you are the first to purchase a copy. If you want a copy of the CD when it's ready, just let me know and I'll get one shipped to you.
I agree with you by the way, good ambient music should put people to sleep. By the way, there's an accompanying track to the album, featured on this recent compilation. https://ambientonline.bandcamp.com/album/ambient-online-compilation-volume-3
It's a little frightening at the start, but I feel the concept justifies that.

Thanks again!

The CD edition is finally complete and can now be ordered from Bandcamp.
Thanks again to all who have listened and given feedback.
