Hi Guys,

i am looking for a Song, that is often used
in Documentary's (9/11) or other sad Documentary's.

There are just a few piano notes. played pretty slow
but its a wonderful melodie. At the end there are also
quiet strings. Maybe someone could help me.
I am sure when you could listen to it, you would
recognize immediately. Because its quiet famous
for this kind of stuff. Its no Enya or such thing.
I would rather say that it reminds me of Sakamotos
play, or Brian Eno & Harold Budd, but it ain't.

Would be great if you could help me.

It's not the piece used in American Beauty is it? That piece of music is used very heavily:

Yeah, but what IS the music? Is it part of the soundtrack to the film itself? Who composed it? Inquiring minds want to know! :D

Newman's score for In the Bedroom is also sublime...

Ah well Martin, you already did me a big favour by introducing me to Bohren and Der Club of Gore. I bought Geisterfaust the other day (I got Black Earth a few months ago after you suggested them to me) and those albums are about the only thing keeping me sane at the moment!

 ;)

Bohren are truly one of the best bands that saw the
light of day in the last 10-20 years. But you got to
get their Sunset Mission. Its like an antidepressant.
At least for me. :)
