Steve Roach & Robert Rich

Wouldn't it be great if these guys team up again?
They're practically made for each other. Well, not in that way, but as artists. ;)
Make it happen! 8)

I find it interesting who he chooses to collaborate with, same for Robert Rich.

Agreed. These two together produced some amazing music. Well of Souls, Cavern of Sirens, Ascension of Shadows, and Spirit Dome are my favourites.

I'm partial to a Roach, Braheny, and Stearns reunion. Desert Solitaire might be my favorite ambient album of all time.

He and Roger King should make "Dust to Dust 2".  A top ten album for sure.

Sadly, epic Ambient collaborations aren't economically feasible by chance.  Send email to Steve and Robert and encourage them to create a Kickstarter with a $5000 minimum.

Oh no, not a Kickstarter... I'm getting some bad vibes from that.... ;D

Stretch goals: for each $1000 donated by backers another 10 seconds will be added to the album

Starter edition: A signed copy of the CD $50
Advanced edition: Includes a signed copy of the CD and hand crafted Steve Roach & Robert Rich action figures $150
Deluxe edition: A lifetime's supply of ambient toilet paper with images from various Steve Roach & Robert Rich album covers (includes all content from the Advanced edition) $500

And for our most loyal fans:
Grand royale pack: A drone loop created by you will be incorporated in the the upcoming album $5.000
Grand royale pack plus: A live studio session with Steve or Robert for $25.000

Thanks Castleview for highlighting Desert Soiltaire. Reminded me this was one one I still had to hear. No sign of it on bandcamp which has probably contributed to me missing it. Had to pick it up on iTunes. Fantastic album, a real mix of styles. I had some tracks on the Desert Collection disc but it is great to hear the rest of this wonderful album. Also picked up Western Spaces which is equally magnificent. Great stuff.

I am liking the sound of these Roach and Rich action figures :) could even get wee synths and assorted musical instruments for them to stand beside.  8)

Keep in mind there are 2 different versions of "Western Spaces", one on IC, the other on Fortuna;
I once wrote a small article ("Ultimate Desert Soundtracks: Western Spaces & Desert Solitaire" on this album which can be found on my site in the Features-section:

www.sonicimmersion.org/feature.php?letter=U&feature=90424

Just my 2 cents......

I would like to see Steve and Robert perform live together. Two different style's but similar. I saw Roach, Djam Karet and Loren Nerell in Pomona several years ago. That was epic. Sadly I missed the Soundquest Fest 2010 in Tucson. Fingers crossed Steve will be in the City of Angels this year.
