I have been listening recently to Ultravox and Gary Numan, huge inspirations in my teenage years.  Came across this quite special little backstage interview

I'm new to this discussion group.  Your post is one of the most recent I came across.

Do you ever listen to a radio program "Music From the Hearts of Space"?  I started listening in the fall of 1986.  The first names I remember are Yanni (Private Music Label), Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Kevin Braheny and Brian Eno.  Early on I liked the music of Patrick O'Hearn and Tangerine Dream.

The "Hearts of Space" label has some awesome ambient space music.

Anything on the Narada Equinox or Narada Mystique label is awesome listening.  I especially like David Lanz and Paul Speer on the equinox label and David Arkenstone on the Mystique label.  My favorite David Arkenstone album is "Valley in the Clouds".

What are your favorite new age / ambient space music artists?

Hope to hear back from you, fellow space music connoisseur.
