Dreamtime Sounds - 'Deku'
« on: November 11, 2019, 02:44:00 PM »
Hello, I'm Dreamtime Sounds. I've been working on some ambient music that I'd like to share.

This is the first track from the upcoming album 'Hex', corresponding to the element of EARTH.

https://soundcloud.com/dreamtimesounds/deku

I created this series of audio meditations during a time of great need, difficulty, and strife leading to deep, systemic healing for my partner and me. Each song is a sonic landscape intended to evoke the healing energies latent in a particular universal force. All of the sounds were created solely using an electric guitar, a looper, and various time-based effect pedals. We lived, slept, and breathed each song for days during their creation, soaking in the vibrations for large spans of time. From my heart to yours, may these waves bring you peace and solace.

There are only two tracks posted so far on the channel - Deku (the one linked to here), and Hex Key, which is a composite track containing a piece of each of the six main tracks as a sampling of the entire album. I will be uploading a new track every six days until the album is complete, at which point it will be available on other sites.

Here is a youtube link with a video to go along with the track - https://youtu.be/i5C9a7ywWxk

Any feedback is very welcome!

I like this, very gentle and as you say meditative - but with shifting textures.

Have you thought of putting up on Bandcamp?

Love the video for "DEKU". Sounds and visuals merging to one greater sublimity.

Sounds for meditation and healing: Music can be a transporter to the cosmos and our inner awareness.

All best, Jana

So true. I am deeply enjoying the music you have posted on bandcamp - such deep and rich textures leading to vast inner landscapes.
