Glad this video moved you in a good way David.....funny how sometimes the ordinary, simple, no bells and whistles can be the most extraordinary.

This is the last video for a while and marks the completion of this project.

It has been a wonderful experience, one that has needed tons of inspiration to drive it which was often provided by the process itself and the discoveries of color, sound and images combined.  The editing proved to be quite demanding to create a certain flow or search for one where none existed and yet it was during this part of the production where the real fun and creative madness occurred.
 
I will begin working on a musical release of this project which should happen quite quickly as the work is mostly done other than cover art and whether a physical cd is warranted or just a digital download.

Thank's everyone here for your support....you made my unsteady foothold feel secure.

This is a wonderful song and a precious tribute.

While watching your cinematography work I admired the pace of your music (the developement).

At the end the piano and the mood makes me think of Eno/Budd.

My piano playing is far from the elegance and restraint of the master Harold Budd but Im glad you felt the spirit of it.

I finally got time to watch and listen to the last video. Another thought provoking journey and superbly done. I loved the moving escalators with no sign of any people.

 Some of the music at the beginning sounded like it had been reversed.Was this part of the quote above?

Sometimes we get these gifts and it so happened my wife and I were visiting friends in another state here in the US and they happened to live very close to a shopping mall that was closing but still had one department store open and the rest was deserted

It does sound a bit backwards but no I think its the delay and distortion on certain instruments that give it that feel.  The demanding part was that most of the video was recorded out of focus.  I used a Marco lens on my iPhone which has a focal distance of 1/4 inch / 1cm but I notice how the phones recording system started doing odd distortions and deep saturations to the video and the focal blur had a special quality to it.  Actually was what gave birth to the whole video and idea as well as making editing it into something cohesive if one can use that word a challenge.  I do enjoy using technology the wrong way....it can lead to those wonderful mistakes.

FYI.....music will be released shortly.  I will probably create a separate thread for it or here.  No sure yet.
