I'm a huge fan of Sirens and Skys, his two solo albums on Hearts Of Space released back in the early 90's, and I wish he would have kept making music like that instead of going on to make soundtracks for obscure Canadian films. His releases with Tim Clement as Danna & Clement were great too. I have Summerland on CD and it's another personal favorite of mine. Sadly, much of their work is out of print at this point.
He was so good at blurring the line between cinematic music and ambient music, without getting too far into cheesy new age territory. I just wish he would have made more non-soundtrack music.

I'm not that familiar with Danna's solo work, but I like his North of Niagara album with Clement. Melancholy, moody and soft, but without sappiness.

Yeah, that's another great album. I need to give it another listen. That last sentence summarizes Summerland pretty well too.

Another Sun, A Gradual Awakening and Summerland are still amongst my personal favourites.

I second Castleview's comments, but it's just the way it is;
in addition, I also highly recommend his early planetarium albums (mc's) "Planets, Stars & Galaxies" (1987) and "Mars: The Journey Begins" (1988);
contact me through a pm if interested.

I never got any of his solo discs, just the one Danna & Clement album A Gradual Awakening, and also Tim Clément's Waterstation, both of which I enjoy. I wonder what happened to Tim, according to discogs he hasn't released anything since 1994.

He makes music for TV shows and films and he's showed up on a few of Danna's soundtracks. Otherwise, he's been pretty quiet.
He has a website apparently: http://www.timclementmusic.com
