M. Griffin "Fabrications."  For some reason, I can go all night with a girl with this one playing.  Maybe it has something to do with the fact it took 10 years to make??  Or maybe more aptly put, "It was a long time coming."  ;-)

Hahahahahaha!  ;D

Hmmm, that mask guy was pretty hot!  ;)

This is incredible! I'm thinking they'll be used for people who have severe facial injuries or deformities. Wow, they could actually walk around in public without being stared at & ridiculed, how amazing!

Loved, loved, LOVED the show! It was an amazing experience getting to watch a real pro at work, and Robert & his wife are SUCH nice people, I'm so thrilled I got to meet them! I was also really happy to see Phil there, and to meet Howard Givens! I took a few pics, (I'm no photographer, plus my camera isn't the latest & greatest in modern technology), but here they are, anyway!

And this one is my personal fave:

Nooooooooo, I'm going! I'm going!

(I don't care if I have to take the entire frakkin' package of Sudafed, I'm GOING!)

OMG, ha ha- thanks, John!  ;D

(However, I think being a teenager pretty much always trumps the more "mature" girl in cuteness factor.)  ;)

My knee injury is FINALLY, (after two months), getting better now, and I'll soon be able to get back to lifting heavy weights for my lower-bod strength training sessions, hooray!  :)

Ha! There are soooo many musicians who go by "Lena," it's crazy! I even had a GUY write me once, demanding that I stop going by that name because HE was already using it, (his real name was like Mathias, or something.) I wrote him back and told him, "Sorry, dude- that's my actual name!"  ;D

Aw, thanks Harry! I gained some weight over the winter, though, when we quit doing our super-long runs and big hikes and stuff. I'm really excited to start getting back outside for some nature adventures, (if it would ever quit raining!)  >:(

52
Awesome, and I love that pic!  :)

(Now I really want to go for a looong bike ride.)

53
Congrats, guys!  :)

I'm down 9lbs since starting P90X almost 2 months ago. I can't credit the program entirely, though, since I hurt my knee not too long into the first month & wasn't able to do the lower bod or cardio DVDs, (only upper bod & abs.) I'm getting back to running and stuff now, but for awhile I could only ride the stationary bike at a very low resistance level for my cardio workouts. Oh, and I also got super-strict with my diet right after I hurt my knee, because I knew that if I couldn't do all my cardio stuff, I'd blow up like a rubber raft if I didn't drastically cut calories!

Anyway, 9lbs down & a few more to go!

Everything and Nothing / Re: "Lost" dreams
« on: May 10, 2010, 03:50:52 PM »
Ha, weird dog dream!

I've had 5 or 6 dreams about Hurley since this last season started. Actually, it's usually Jorge Garcia, not his character, and Mike & I are hanging out with him and his girlfriend in different places, (their house, a restaurant, one of the Lost sets, etc. In the last one, we were all shopping for dinner stuff in some huge, upscale grocery store together.)  ;D

I think this is happening because I visit both his and his girlfriend's blogs regularly, (Dispatches from the Island & Hallelujah to the Hoot.) It's pretty bizarre, though, dreaming about him of all people on a regular basis...  ???

Might be useful for collaborative work too...

It's VERY useful for collaborative work! My sister & I are working on an album together, and it's really easy for me to add a track to a song and then just drag & drop it into Dropbox so she can add her tracks. I love it!  :)

Crap, crap, crap....  :'(

That's all I have to say about last night's episode.

The thing is, when there is a lot (or everything) on the line, what is required to make it right is a sacrifice.

Oh, I know. Like I said- I was just being a girl.  ;)

I can't wait to see how they actually wrap it up, though, no matter which way it ends up going.

59
Yeah, after I wrote that, I walked away & went, "Wait a minute......"  ;D

Hmmm, I guess my fantasy is that Desmond somehow throws them all into an alternate, alternate timeline, where they never crashed AND all the bad stuff never happened to any of them, (too much to ask? Probably!)

Mike usually ends up guessing right about stuff, so don't be surprised if the show ends up going the way he predicted!

60
Oooh, I don't know if I like that....  :(

I'd rather have Desmond do something with the magnetic pocket, which causes them to never have crashed on the island in the first place, (and of course they all live happily ever after, and this weird alternate reality is only weird right now because it wasn't the one that was "meant to be.")

Yep, I'm a sucker for happy endings sometimes...  :D
