Man, don't even know where to start in posting new purchases lately; returned from San Fran about 2 weeks ago with at least 80, 85 discs, a couple box sets, etc., all from a splendid weekend haunting both Amoebas, Aquarius, Rasputin's, etc. Few fellow colleagues/friends seem to enjoy/want/have need to physically "record shop" at brick-and-mortars anymore, but it remains a passion of mine and often a sanctuary (if not a reminder of better times past) from life's many less enthralling daily rigors.
However, items en route are as follows (but a brief smattering thereof):
- ALX 'Lying At The Bass Of The Spine'
- Arti & Mestieri 'First Live in Japan'
- Asymmetric 'From Nowhere Came'
- Belbury Poly 'Farmer's Angle'
- Bill Sharpe/Gary Numan 'self-titled' (80s collab reissued on disc)
- Circular 'Cycles Of Remembrance'
- Create 'We Live By the Machines'
- Delayscape 'Morse Disco'
- DFA 'Work in Progress Live'
- Dieter Ettlinger 'A.I. Ambient Intelligence'
- Eberhard Weber 'Yellow Fields' (original ECM issue)

Today being the day I turn 50 (yikes!), I'm off to indulge further droppage of coin & plastic @ Princeton Record Exchange, then to dinner in the Big Apple in the midst of our current January snap of early December...
