Relaxed Machinery presents, "sleepMODE", a snapshot of the rapidly-growing label celebrating it's first anniversary. Thirteen global artists bring their own unique perspectives and life experiences to "sleepMODE". With the album at just over two hours, each artist had free rein to use as much track length as needed to evoke the feelings and emotions they wished to express for this project. The music ranges from ambient soundscapes, electro-acoustic, to modern minimalism; using synths, guitar, bass, field recordings, and processing.

Sounds really good!! I definitely want to get this. I can't decide whether to download it or wait for the cdr through Hypnos. I sort of prefer the cdr. Any idea when they will be available? John? Mike?

I'm really not sure - totally up to Mike and Lena and I'm not postive masters have even arrived at Hypnos HQ yet!

I'm eternally grateful for Mike and Lena and their wonderful treatment of rM and our artists!

If you want the CDR - definitely wait! It's coming!

flac might be a week or two yet - this will be our first flac release - and then we'll be doing the other releases.

Wow - 4 exclamation marks - I must be excited! Whooops - five! I mean six.

We haven't received all the materials we need to make these, but as soon as we get it, the CDRs will be read to go. I'll huddle with JKN about this.

I've been looking for this in the Hypnos store under the Relaxed Machinery label to no avail. If it's not ready yet, that's okay. I just want to make sure I'm not missing it somewhere else.

It's not ready yet ... a minor issue with the masters we're sorting out.

Yes, 2 CDRs. The actual cover artwork will have a "1" or "2" designation on it, unlike the version I posted.

It was originally planned to be a download only release - and then the album ended up splitting fairly easily into a 2 CDR release - so it just made sense to do it!

I'm grateful to Mike and Lena at Hypnos for making the albums for us and selling them through the store!

There will also be a flac version - but admittedly, we're brand new to the flac world and just getting things rolling. Thankfully our partners for the flac files have a ton of experience with them and they're helping out!

My friend, Steve Brand, contributed to this album. I'm very much looking forward to it.
There's not a piece on sleepMODE that I'm not totally diggin'. Can't wait to get it.
