Hypnos releases for 2015 ?

Hi, I'm not sure if this got already discussed, but are there Hypnos releases planned for this year ?

We've talked about plans from time to time but there's nothing wrong asking for an update.


Simply put, I've been a bit slack about pushing forward with new CD projects, though there are several in the queue.


Up next will be the 2nd Seren Ffordd & Oophoi collaboration and our first release by Max Corbacho.


We'd also like to resume our Seren Ffordd reissue series on Hypnos Secret Sounds, though we'll be changing the nature of those editions a little bit.


There's also a new Seren Ffordd solo in the Hypnos pipeline, though I don't want to do too much stuff by a single artist without breaking things up a bit.


I'm also beginning to plan an album of my own, though I'm not sure if I expect this to come out late in 2015 or early in 2016.

I recently picked up Corbacho's "The Ocean Inside" album.  Really nice all around, very deep ambient textures.

Sorry for the slow reply. That's still the plan. I've been talking with Seren Ffordd about that one, and need to get back in touch with Max Corbacho.


No real problems are preventing these from moving forward other than the intrusion of "real life" into Hypnos time!

It's about 1 year after the post about Seren w/*Oophoi and Corbacho CDs being up next but no info recently about what if anything is being released this year.  Any news?

I don't think of Hypnos as dead as a label, but I understand that when a long period of time passes between releases, people will assume it is.


Our mail order operation is continuing, and we've devoted some time to switching from our old, long-established Hypnos Online Store to our new Soundswim.com store. The old store will be shut off any day now, and when that happens we'll start adding new products to the new store.


And of course I realize that if I don't start putting out new CDs, at least a few per year, people will perceive the label as dead. I don't see it as finished, but rather than make promises, I know I've just got to work on it. I intend to do so, and hope that when we do release new CDs, people will support that effort.

Indeed I thought so (but happy to read now that it's not actually the case).

To me it appears to be more of an undead label.
