I saw Stephen Parsick at the B-Wave festival at the weekend, he says he is about to return from some kind of self-inflicted sabbatical... he says he needed to have a break

Ben Fleury-Steiner
still creating music! less prolific than before perhaps. his latest was out a few moths ago, see http://www.discogs.com/Ben-Fleury-Steiner-While-The-Red-Fish-Sleeps/release/6647998
he also posted some tracks from a forthcoming disc on his soundcloud page https://soundcloud.com/benfleurysteinersounds

I saw David Tollefson last week. He's always been more involved with indie rock projects than with ambient, though occasionally he gets interested in recording some ambient stuff, either by himself or with me.

I saw Ben Fleury-Steiner post something on Facebook last week so I know he's around.

Chad Hoefler is on Facebook.  Posting pictures of his dog now and then.

I don't see any musical activity.  Looks like he's busy being a professor.

Mr Brennan is still working on a new project. There's no release date set yet but, its looking like first half of 2016 if all goes well....

I think he said that 3 years ago, but if it's true then I'm a happy camper!   ;D

Hi drone on!

My friend communicated with Thom Brennan in 15.11.2012.

QuoteHello Yuri,

I have heard of KLEM, thank you for your interest.
I have been working on a new album for a few years now... moving very slow. Im hoping I will be ready to release it the middle of next year. It will probably be more "ambient" than my last CD "Stories from the Forest", but Im still exploring ideas.

Please sign up for my news letter. I only use it to announce new releases.
Its located here....

Best wishes to you !

[...] Stephen Parsick (disappeared from the forum and music making apparently) [...]

Thanks for asking, I'm still around. Now that's a relief.

Making ends meet isn't exactly getting easier but more and more time-consuming. Basically, it's all about art and life interfering with each other :).

Running a tiny label enterprise (ho-hum...), being creative, and earning money to pay the electric bill at the same time takes more time and energy I have to spare hence I had to cut back a little (in fact, three years ago I decided to take a sabbatical from releasing music for an indefinite period of time). And gosh, I do need electricity...

I hope to be releasing a new album or two in the course of the year but I am not all too keen on live performances, simply because I do not have the time to prepare myself for any.

Stephen

PS: Thanks Jez... wish we could have had more time for a little chat.

Yay!!! Stephen's back!!!

Miss your sense of humor.  Even your first new post since last century made me laugh.  Please stay so I can chuckle once in awhile here.

;D

PS:  I'm getting "ramp[ed]" up with aniticipation for these new albums, hopefully there will not be any "astral disasters" here on Earth to spoil the impending fun.  8)
