I heartily disagree.  The number symbolizes the antichrist, destruction of God's creation, and hell on Earth.  Not exactly nature loving peacenik from what I can tell.  Also a Satanist and atheist are two completely different belief systems.

I don't want to drag this out, but one quick note: The two most prominent Satanic organizations in the US, LaVey's "Church of Satan" and the Detroit-based "Satanic Temple", are both explicitly atheistic. They seem to view Satan, along the lines Castleview suggested, as something more like a symbol of self-realization, enlightenment, etc. It's all pretty silly to me (I'm no great fan of prodigal metaphysics or even pseudospiritual theater), but the latter organization has at least done some tangible good in calling attention to breaches in the Establishment Clause that other religious institutions have been permitted to get away with. None of this, of course, obligates you to buy anyone's music, but the detail is worth mentioning.

diatonis

I've always thought the title of this forum/record company was from this story.

This is just silly.

What a complete waste of time.Nearly 400 views. For whatever reason,if you do not like it (and I do not) then move on.
Bowie just passed away and there is way less talk about a man who influenced generations and was an icon than this project from some unknown newbie.
Sad.

drone on

Ok, ok...LUCIFERIAN.  Is that more clear?

PS:  Diatonis is not a newbie.  Been releasing music since the 90s.

Mr. D seems to be digging himself a further hole.  The question now is how deep he wants that hole to be.

Excuse me gentleman, are we putting together some sort of witch hunt? I respect everyones perspective but really, diatonis is no stranger here and has been around this forum long before most of you. Go listen to the other release before you light the bonfire.

This music is good and perhaps dark but because it is for sale for six dollars and sixty six cents the artist is a satanist.  Come on!

Hi Julio,

True that Stuart's no witch, but he's more than a little dismissive and disrespectful and a bit of a twerp.  For me, it's not about his beliefs, but how he treats those of others.  It shouldn't matter whether you or I believe that "666" means anything, if others do.  He probably could have put this to bed a long time ago by apologizing to drone on and thirdsystem for his "get a clue" comment.  It's probably time for us to put this thread to bed.
