I dont know how many times I have been listening to this album (guess around 200+). Its so great. So much depth and texture. Sounds come in and out it such delicate subtle ways like other ambient producers doesnt seem to master. Its not loud and obtrusive.

Im looking for albums that posseses the same qualites or resamble this one.

Thanks.

That's a great album. Have you checked out some of the albums by 36? They are similar in spirit, at least in my opinion. There is a certain "sound" that I associate with some of the ambient that emerged in the early Biosphere days in the UK and Europe that isn't well represented in the US. I think both of these artists capture that spirit well.

I have and I used to be a fan of 36, and this still is to some degree. His overall sound is darker and rather sad, while Telluric Waves is just deep, brooding and explorative. Thats why I dont fancy Lomax newer works as much, although his latest was getting back to that deep sound a little.

But thanks for responding.

Yeah, I've been puzzling on this one. I just scanned through some of the things in my Bandcamp collection (https://bandcamp.com/rcfraley), and I think these releases are the ones that most remind me of the Telluric Waves atmosphere. Even if they don't quite land perfectly, I think you'd like them--if you haven't already explored them.

Motionfield - The Passage
(This release in particular. The other releases are good too, but this one hits it just right, in my opinion.)

Warmth - Essay
This one is more of a stretch, but there are elements here that create a similar vibe.

I see we seem to share pretty similar taste in ambient. Both those two have been on rotation here, not lately that much, but certainly a while back. Thanks again though, but already been listening to those (maybe even too much haha).

Let me share something in return. Have you listened to this? I found it a week ago, and it has been playing countless times.

And still, im open to new suggestions.
